The Silva Bay Rendezvous is a benefit for the Silva Bay Shipyard School.

Join us Tuesday, September 1st through Wednesday the 2nd for this relaxed mid-week gathering of traditional and wooden boats that falls between the Vancouver Wooden Boat Festival and the Deer Harbour Rendevous and the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival . No need to rush. Just sit back and enjoy the quaintness of this quiet bay and its scenic backdrop of the Flat-top Islands. Or go ashore and stock up at the nearby general store, which has fresh produce, delicious bakery goods, and an Internet cafe.

Silva Bay is home to many vessels and there are active sailors here who often take advantage of the fresh breeze. During the Rendezvous there will be much enjoyment on the bay with traditional small boats hoisting sail and the Coastal Wayfarers Association fleet doing what they do best, heeling over! The Silva Bay Shipyard School will have an open-house, and like-minded wooden boat enthusists can mingle and talk about what they love most.

On the evening of the 1st, Silva Bay Marina and Resort will host a BBQ on the patio above the docks. Chef Paul puts together delicious meals and we will have some nice beer on tap and music to celebrate the day.
